Jordan,
YES it is scary. It's exciting to see them develop into young adults, but frightening at the same time. My son and 2 friends drove to Myrtle Beach last week. It was a long drive and on top of that they got stuck in traffic, so it was a 14-hour day. I tried to keep my mind on other things until he finally called me that they were there. I guess we never stop worrying no matter how old they get. Now my daughter is starting to drive too!

Toby, I'm so glad you found this information to be useful! It's a little bit scary when they get to this age, isn't it?

This is good and very timely advice. Just yesterday my 19-year old son was drooling over my Sportster and saying he wants to learn to ride. This is the first time I've heard him say this. I'll see whether it's just a fleeting thought, or whether it's something he stays focused on. If so, the MSF course is a requirement from mom! Thanks for sharing!
