Hey cool development in the Des Moines HOG Chapter, I’m now the official New Member Ambassador! Yep, I’ve joined the officer’s ranks of our chapter, which is based at Big Barn HD. My job for 2008 will be to sign in new members at each meeting, then introduce them to the rest of the group. I think it sounds like fun, and I’m thrilled to be on board!

Hi Janet, my bike has been stabled since mid-October here in southeast Alaska. I too have my nose in the catalogs and on the internet to get me through the winter. With all this indoor time to spend, I wandered through some of your older blogs that I hadn’t seen. I’m writing to tell you I had to chuckle when I read your blog way back in 2005 when you first got your bike and you said you need different handlebars that come back closer to you - and now you’ve got…apehangers - yee haw! Oh - and Merry Christmas, Officer Biker Chick!
LOL thanks for noticing, hope you had a lovely Christmas! ~ J.
